SANG KANCIL

Once upon a time in a very big forest there was a very clever and  cunning animal called  Sang Kancil. He lived with his perents  and his brother.

One day, Sang Kancil went to the Kora’s home with his friends. He would came to birthday party of Kora. However, the Kora’s home was very needed longtime to reach. When Sang Kancil said goodbye to his parents, they were uncertain to allowed him leave.

“Don’t worry, Mom. I promised to went home fastly as I could after the party,” said Sang Kancil.

Finally, Sang Kancil’s parents allow him to went to the party. Sang kancil was very happy.

Three days later, Sang Kancil went home. Actually, he could went home in the day before, but his friend, Ducky Duck forced him to stay in Ducky’s home. Sang Kancil couldn’t refused him.

Arriving in the home, kancil was very shock. His house was in bad condition. The goods was disordered. Kancil was panic, he found out his parents and brother, but he just found nothing. Kancil was very sad, but he wanted to know what happened with his family. So, he checked out from his house and came to his neighbor, Mr. Zebry.

When he reached Mr. Zebry’s house, the house was empty. Kancil decided to went to other neighbor house. However, he couldn’t found them.

“Where are they? Why I can’t find anyone here?” kancil was confused.

After waited about seven hour, finally kancil found someone. She was Mommy Bear. Her face looked very depressed.

“Do you know what happen with my family, Mommy Bear?” asked Kancil.

“Of course, I gathered with them when it is happen,” answered her.

“What happen?”

“They are killed by hunter,”

“Whaaaat?”

“Well, there were many hunters came to our home yesterday. They wanted to killed us. We can’t fought back them, because our power was not enough to face their weapon. Some of us were killed, and some other were safe, but it was little. Hu..hu..hhuu.. Fortunately, I could save myself. However, I’m sorry because I couldn’t save your family. Even, my husband and third son were killed too. Hu..huhu…” Mommy Bear was crying. Kancil just silent, he was very shock.

Since that day, kancil and most of forest inhabitant were very angry with human. They wanted to give counterattack to human, especially to the hunters.

One day, kancil walked together with her friends to searched method to counterattack human. Not far from the forest, kancil found a cucumber farm. Mommy Bear said that the farm’s owner was one of the hunters that killed kancil’s family. Kancil got idea.

“How if we destroy the farm? I think it is not too difficult for us, but it can give some punishment to the one of the hunters that killed our family,” said kancil.

“I agree with you kancil. But, when we can do that?” asked Momon the monkey.

“Of course, in the dark midnight,” said kancil.

Finally, kancil and his friends realized their plan. In the dark midnight, they came to the garden. Some of Kancil’s friends broke the cucumber plant, and some other stole the cucumber. Kancil was satisfied with their treatmented this night. He planned to did it on the other time.

Kancil was true, on the other harvest time he and his friends did it. It made the farmer was very angry. He had planned something to stopped kancil and his friends.

However, kancil was a clever animal. The farmer’s trap was failed to trapped kancil and his friends. It made the farmer was so angry. He had made a sophiscated trap to kancil and his friends.

Kancil had infer that it would happened. He had made a plan to deceive the farmer. He would did it on this harvest time.

On the dark midnight, as usual, kancil came to the cucumber garden. But he didn’t accompanied with his friends. He just alone in the night. Kancil started to stole the cucumber. When he did that, he was amazed with an animal in the beside of the garden. The animal didn’t move and answered when kancil called her. Kancil walked out to the animal. but, he was shock when he know that it is a trap. Kancil was trapped, the farmer put him to the strong cage.

“Don’t worry kancil. Actually I didn’t like your flesh. But I’m sure that I would butchered you!” said the farmer.

Kancil just silent. The farmer asked to Doggy, his dog to guard kancil all the time.

“Hi, kancil. How poor are you. My master is very brilliant,” said Doggy. But, kancil just silent. “Why do you keep silent. I heard from my master that you are very clever. But, I think that is not true,”

“You’re right Doggy. I’m not clever. But if you are clever animal, I think you will so envious with me,” kancil started to answer Doggy’s questions.

“Why I should feel that kancil? Am I happy if I have to shut in the strong cage like you? The answer is NO!” said Doggy.

“Hey, don’t say it! You must know that I am here because your master would let me to marry his daughter. Don’t you want to?”

“Hahaha! You can’t deceive me kancil! I know my master’s purpose to put you into this strong cage. It’s impossible if he want to let you to marry his daughter. Moreover, I hear that he want to butchered you,”

“How poor are you Doggy! That is just your master’s deceivement. He don’t want to you know that he had find more clever animal than you to marry with her daughter,”

“If you are true. Why do you said this to me?”

“It because I don’t want to marry with your master’s daughter. My family are killed just now. I want to be alone for some months,”

Finally, Doggy want to replaced kancil in the cage. Doggy open the cage and kancil was escaped. Then, Doggy entered to the cage. Kancil closed the cage again and locked it, after that he ran fastly. He was succeeded to deceive the dog, now he want to realize the second planning. He hit the torch in the side of the farmer’s home. The torch fell down and made a great conflagration at the farmer’s house.

Kancil was very happy because his plan was succeeded. His friends had made a big party to celebrated it. The party conducted in the side of forest. So, kancil had to leave his home. Actually, he doubt to leave the home. But his friend forced him.

When kancil leave his home. He didn’t know that about 100 hunters came to his forest. They broke kancil’s friends home and killed many kancil’s friend. They also lumbered many trees and fire all of them. It made all of the forest werw burnt.

In the afternoon, kancil went home. He was very shock when he saw the condition. His home was broken. Some parts of the forest was burned out. And many kancil’s friends were killed. Kancil thinked that he was  the guilty. He didn’t know that his avenged could become a bigger disaster.
