MY
MEMORABLE TRIP TO SRAGEN
At that time, I
and my team consisting of Andina and Satrio followed the 'Genius' competition. It is an english and science
competition that organized by the Student Organisation of Sragen Bilingual
Booarding School (SBBS).
With support from my teacher and
my friend, we became the top 20 in first selection
level and were required to attend the next level which conducted
in Sragen, or more precisely in the campus of SBBS in Sragen Regency.
With a strong determination, I and my
team decided to went to Sragen. We went there accompanied by our teacher.
Arriving in Sragen, we spent one
night in my teacher house. But I couldn’t slept that night.
Next day, we went to the campus of SBBS. There, we met
finalists from different schools as Java and Bali, and even some of them came
from Borneo. They looked very smart with their thick eye
wear and thick
modul books they bring. It really made us pessimistic. However, I and
my team would try my best to became the winner.
Unfortunately, we failed in to
compete in quarter final. We
should went
home with a deep disappointment. Despite the fact we've thought would happen,
but especially for me it was quite painful.
That was the end of my story. Maybe, this experience was not a
pleasant experience, but there was a lesson that
I could get. Sometimes, I thought have become the best student. But through this event,
I knew that above the sky was still there was sky, too. It made me realized, to
be more humble. That was very memorable trip.
